The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length.

Relay began in 1985 when Dr. Gordy Klatt, a colorectal surgeon in Tacoma, Washington, ran and walked around a track for 24 hours to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Since then, Relay has grown from a single man’s passion to fight cancer into the world’s largest movement to end the disease. Each year, more than 3.5 million people in 5,000 communities in the United States, along with additional communities in 19 other countries, gather to take part in this global phenomenon and raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer. Thanks to Relay participants, we are creating a world with more birthdays a world where cancer can’t claim another year of anyone’s life.

Anyone can participate in Relay For Life. Friends, families, neighbors, classmates, sports teams, etc., can form their own teams. No matter who you are, there’s a place for you at Relay.

The only requirement to participate in Relay For Life is the $10 registration/commitment fee (per person) that is due upon registration. After that, anything you can raise through individual, team, or online fundraising is graciously accepted. It is recommended that each participant to set a personal goal to raise $100. If you raise more, that's even better. Even if you do not raise $100, you are still welcome to participate.

If you want to be part of Relay, you can start a team or join an existing team online. You can also make an online donation.

SOCIAL LOVE GROOVE DANCE IS A MOVEMENT CREATED BY J GUITAR KONTY AND HIS FAMILY OUT OF THE DESIRE TO DO MORE WITH J GUITAR KONTY'S MUSIC CAREER. "PHILANTHROPY IS A CENTER FOCUS FOR ME. A TOOL TO JUST LOVE PEOPLE AND GIVE ASSISTANCE WHERE I CAN,"

Angel Flight West is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization that arranges free, non-emergency air travel for children and adults with serious medical conditions and other compelling needs. Our network of 1,900 pilots throughout the 13 western states donate their aircraft, piloting skills, and all flying costs to help families in need, enabling them to receive vital treatment that might otherwise be inaccessible because of financial, medical, or geographic limitations.

Our pilots give freely of their time and money, restoring health and hope to those whose lives have been disrupted by illness, disaster, or other life-altering events.  Their only reward is the joy of knowing how much of a difference they've made.

"I can personally relate and talk highly of this organization and what they have done. I myself have a loved one very dear to me with a lifetime, life threatening illness and understand the financial and stress filled pressures that come with it. Flying to UCLA is one of the necessary steps for treatment and care needed to help keep the one we love with us, yet we live in Oregon. The cost of flying commercially really begins to take its toll financially. So, please find it in you to help movements and missions like Angel Flight. They are truly demonstrating unconditional love, care and the beauty of the human spirit, simply loving all human kind. Loving with acts of service and selflessness,"   - Joseph Konty

Every day, an average of 51 families are faced with this heartbreaking tragedy.  Not only are the parents faced with grief, but often they must make funeral arrangements before they even leave the hospital; those arrangements must be paid within the week.  The McKenzie Rose Foundation is here to help.

We assist the Parents in setting up a fundraising campaign that will reach throughout their social network. Everyone wants to help, but they don't know what to do.  All too often parents will hear, "If you need anything, let me know."  At this point in time the parents are in such a state of shock that they don't know what to do, let alone telling others how they can help. The McKenzie Rose Foundation can help!

Although our main focus is to help those families who have lost an infant to still birth or during pregnancy (Viable pregnancy- 24 weeks gestation); We always do our best to help anyone that has a child pass with no warning.  If you know a family that is in need of funding due to a traumatic loss, please call us to arrange for help.  Day or night.
